Megabyte Ltd announces that it was nominated a finalist for the Solution Provider Category at the ITEuropa European IT Excellence Awards 2011. Megabyte was nominated for this award for the Solution it provided to Seifert MTM Ltd Malta.
Seifert was trying to adapt its IT system to the new market requirements. It was looking after flexibility in dealing with customer needs (i.e. adapting offering to almost each and every customer need and/or requirement), rapid response time, better quality assurance and ultimately, more accurate cost control. Megabyte’s proposed solution was composed of: Oracle E-Business Suite (Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, Oracle Discrete Manufacturing, Oracle Project Costing) and Oracle Business Intelligence Standard Edition One. The solution contained also Oracle Fusion Middleware as well as an Oracle Database. What made this solution unique was that it incorporated a ‘Total Solution’ package with Hardware, Software, Infrastructure, Application and Business Intelligence.
The reaction to the solution provided and implemented by Megabyte was coined by the General Manager of Seifert Ltd, Ing. Ruben Cuschieri as “a winning solution.”
