Chamber Of Engineers Awards Lifetime Achievement Engineering Award To Megabyte’s Chairman
The award for Lifetime Achievement at the sixth edition of the Malta Engineering Excellence Awards was awarded to Thomas Galea, Chairman and co-founder of Megabyte, who throughout his career as entrepreneur and consultant has contributed significantly to the advancement of the engineering profession in Malta.
Ing. Helga Pizzuto commented that Ing. Thomas Galea is a skilled, multi tasking engineer whose untiring application and inventiveness raised both the prestige and standards of the engineering profession in the Maltese islands.
The Malta Engineering Excellence Awards (MEEA) provides national recognition to individuals and organisations who have achieved outstanding engineering accomplishments. This year’s awards were announced at a reception hosted by the Chamber of Engineers and the awards were presented by Ing Helga Pizzuto, President of the Chamber of Engineers and by Architect Chris Falzon, CEO of Malta Enterprise.
