Through Explorer-like hierarchical lists, users access salary details, grades history, emergency contacts, vacation and sick leave takings, skills acquired, training attended and just about anything else the human resource manager might require. Human Resources Module

Engaging and keeping an effective workforce demands an effective management tool that makes it possible to respond to the diverse needs of the human resource component of any company in any industry. The system is designed and engineered to meet business HR requirements such as:

The Megabyte HR Module enables the user to issue an external call for applications with the facility to attach the applications received and group them by application call. Moreover, a track of each application is kept on the whole recruitment process (i.e. written examination, interview and medical examination) until the acceptance or rejection of the applicant.

Management will be able to track any training undergone by the employee, while keeping a record of all qualifications and skills. The history of each employee's performance can be accessed, and any disciplinary investigations raised against employees may also be recorded.

The Human Resources Module enables the user to monitor and track any course or training the employee might have attended internally, externally or overseas throughout his career. By reviewing the qualifications, skills and training of an employee, the user can plan a career path that will suit the future requirements of the company.

 

Any disciplinary investigations raised against employees, may be recorded in the system. Details such as case investigated, disciplinary board members, decision, appeals and action taken can all be kept in the HR Module, in order for the Management and Personnel Department to keep track of all the disciplinary cases.

Payroll

The Payroll System, developed purposely to cater for both the Maltese and foreign market is rich in functionality, cost effective, reliable and above all proven. It is highly parameterised and can be easily integrated with applications such as Time and Attendance and Human Resources Management. The Module can support a multi-company workforce, as well as, cater for an unlimited number of organisation levels. The Megabyte Payroll Module features user-friendly functionality for the payment and handling of salaries, overtime and union deductions, fringe benefits, health insurance, and company pension contributions. Data input can be customised so that any financial and statistical information is easily tracked and queried. As well as our HR module, the Megabyte Payroll System is engineered to cater for and respond to on-going and diverse needs of businesses both in Malta and overseas.

Time and Attendance

The Megabyte Time and Attendance System is a software solution used to assist in people management. Through Time and Attendance, the HR manager can handle unlimited types of leave, employee clocking and attendance schedules, as well as create shift plans and monitor Flexi Time. The Megabyte Time and Attendance system has been designed for use by any company that needs a more secure and modern solution to traditional clocking systems with unlimited historical data storage. Furthermore it may be used stand-alone, with employee’s clocking-in via PCs, or may scale up to a solution controlling unlimited terminals and users, across multiple sites with any number of employees. Clocking is not only limited to PCs. Card Clocks, Biometric and Proximity Readers may also be used to record employee timings. Such terminals can work off-line or on-line via a WAN to ensure that administrators are provided with real-time information.
