Our clients value independent advice in this area and we have carried a number of project making recommendations on organisational structure. These include our work for the Public Lotto system in which we identified advanced technical solutions to be implemented by the department to facilitate the introduction of the Super Five lottery and computerise, with great efficiency and security, the traditional Lotto game. The system, which can be considered as a total Maltese solution, was conceived, designed and implemented totally by Megabyte's personnel. Another such achievement was the facilities management offered by us to the Government Electoral Commission in the recent Computerisation project and also at the VAT office. We also assisted more then thirty leading hotels and service industries in introducing Information Technology in their operations. In all these cases, Megabyte first provided management consultancy and then the clients appointed us to design, specify, project manage and implement related systems. This ensures that our management consulting advice is based on an awareness of the practical realities of implementing our recommendations.
