The native capacity is 80 GB, and the uncompressed transfer rate is 8MB/s.

The DLT VS160 tape drive is supported by HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools (L&TT) which aids in installing, managing and troubleshooting the drive and media. It is compatible with HP Data Protector, HP Data Protector Express, native Windows, Backup Exec, ARCServe and other backup software applications. The drive can read data written by DLT VS80 tape drives.
