Technical Sales Engineer – Ref: TSE08/18

We provide bespoke software solutions, as well as hardware infrastructure, networking and system integration services.
We are currently seeking to recruit an individual to fill the position of a Technical Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate would have a sound technical knowledge so as to be in a position to provide consultancy and support on a wide range of products and services. This role is a crucial part of our sales process and the selected individual will be the key point of contact for customers.
Responsibilities for this role will include:
- Handling of customer accounts
- Identifying new potential customers and providing pre-sales advice as to the best solution to meet their requirements
- Develop long term relationships with clients
- Knowledge of competitors' products
- Preparation of proposals and tender documents
- Follow up of submitted proposals
- Completion of sales cycle up to delivery
- Liaising with the marketing team for product promotions and other marketing activities
The ideal candidate would have:
- A tertiary level of education
- Have a good command of the English language
- Possession of a valid driving license
- Excellent communication skills
- A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
- A positive, confident and determined approach
