Overview

The HP ProLiant ML350 G4p Storage Server is powerful network attached storage (NAS) solution that has been designed for the small to medium business (SMB) or remote offices deploying file, print, and/or an Exchange environment. The versatile design supports either SCSI- or SATA-based models, providing both high performance and high reliability with the SCSI-based models, or SATA models that provide high capacity and a lower price. In addition the ML350 G4p can be optionally equipped with a second processor to improve performance, and redundant power and cooling. Utilising internal storage, the ML350 G4p Storage Server can provide up to 1.8TB of user data and can meet future needs by installing a second storage controller that allows connection to external storage arrays (either SCSI or SATA). The unit comes preconfigured with the Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 and easily integrates into all Windows environments and supports file, print and Exchange.

Windows Storage Server 2003 Operating System with Storage Resource Manager and Services for UNIX: Pre-installed OS allows for quick and easy deployment; multiple file protocols; full Windows integration with Active Directory; built-in “Snapshot” capability with Virtual Shadow Copy Service (VSS); quotas and file screening; and additional storage reporting capabilities are included.
