Overview

Equally at home in a data-center rack or on a desk next to the office server, the 1/8 Tape Autoloader in a 2U form factor is equipped with either an Ultrium 960, Ultrium 448, SDLT 320, Ultrium 232 or a DLT VS80 tape drive and can hold up to eight cartridges. The autoloader can be used in either a direct-attached backup to a single server or across the LAN. The Ultrium and SDLT versions are an ideal consolidated backup solution for multiple servers where high throughput and high capacity are required. For users who have less stringent capacity and throughput requirements, the DLT VS80 version is recommended. The box contains the autoloader, power cord, SCSI cable, LVD SCSI terminator, installation guide, and product manual. All models come with HP OpenView Storage Data Protector, Single Server Edition for Windows 2000/NT/2003/XP. At an affordable price, the 1/8 Tape Autoloader is a complete solution in the box. An optional accessory kit is available for rack-mounting the unit.
